Pretty Cool!!!

I got a phone call from Fred Knight today... he is feeling a bit sad that he will not be joining us this year. It amazes me how the dust truly does get in your blood and people leave their heart there when they travel back to the States.

He also informed me that Google Earth has Arandis & Swakopmund in high resolution. If you are not familiar with Google Earth it is a free-ware program from Google. Basically, you can view the entire earth. Not all of it is able to be to be viewed in high resolution, but in the areas that are, you can see cars on the roads!! (Windhoek has been that way for a while now... you can see planes on the runway!!).

This picture shows the town of Arandis the top label is the school, the middle is the Zebra Lodge and right next to that is the out door stage that the dancers performed at in 2005 and the band will perform at this year. I have also put this picture in the photo gallery under "Locations"
