Contrast



Take a good look at this picture. It was taken this past weekend. Do you have a guess at where the picture was taken?

How about those of you who have been to Namibia before. Do you recognize the setting?

Namibia is in the midst of another record breaking wet season. Flooding has been a huge problem across the country. This picture was taken in Okahandja by the town dam located just a few kilometers from Dieter and Joan's property. The dam is nearing 100% of its capacity which has local officials scrambling. So far our friends are all doing fine and enjoying the lushness of such a wet season in contrast to the stark dryness that is the norm.

By the time our team arrives there this summer, we will again be walking thru and parking our cars on riverbeds just like the one in this picture. Imagine that.
