Ahhhh.... The Brisk Namibian Air...
Well... it's true... we are on Namibian soil... & IT'S COLD IN THE MORNING... the plane actually landed 2 hours earlier than we were told it would on the flight itinerary... so we had some time to look and see if our luggage magically appeared but the belt was empty so I went to talk to the lost & found luggage guy.... he wasn't beefy at all, he was quite nice actually. So, Dave & I ventured out the door to wait for our ride. As we were sitting in the lobby (or whatever it's called) Dave asked me if I had any Namibian dollars and I knew I did... just where did I put them?? I recalled taking the little bag out of my pocket when I was in Mike's truck & putting it somewhere... just then the nice guy from the luggage counter came over and said that one of our bags had arrived... could it be true?? which one?? So I followed him to the counter to fill out the paperwork, before I signed it I was asking him which one and he stated a red one... could it be Dave's big rolling bag...????? He told me he would bring it around so that I could see... no, not Dave rolling bag but the big %&$@ HPOM bag... so, no sleeping bags, tent or clothes, but we have some power adapters, photo printer, lots of HPOM clothing AND the little bag with the Namibian money that I had just been looking for... I thought that was pretty cool. So, Richard picked us up... we did a bit of running around and then stopped at the pizza place we went to when the whole team arrived last year. Now we are waiting for Dieter to finish up at a Judea Harvest Pastors Conference and I saw this wonderful little internet cafe right across the way so I figured I would let you all know that we made it, the land is beautiful, Sandi... the sand is already stuck between my toes... (my sneakers are in my checked luggage too... just remembered that) and as Richard tells me... I finally made it home.
Dave says hello... he loved the last flight... it was only 9 1/2 hours and he slept like a baby...
