Messages From Okahandja
TOIVOHi everyone in New Hampshire! I am with the group, and I am 15 years old, and I am enjoying everyone second of it. Well I will tell you about myself; I am child of 4 children and I am the oldest, I used to live at the orphanage in Okahandja which is about 40 km north of Windhoek that’s where I met Brenda Johnston, Brenda saw I did well at school , so when I was 12 years old I went to school in Windhoek, called the Windhoek international school, and I am sponsored by a German man called Roland Schmidt, the school is the best school in Namibia, can you believe it offer the IB curriculum, it’s a curriculum which can give you access to any university. And this year I am in grade 9, and I am doing well at school, I want to be a doctor one day, I want to study in states then probably go to India and work there, as missionary doctor.
Before I go I just want to thank anyone that gave me clothes and stuff I really appreciate it. And Rebecca Waitt I do really miss you and wish you were here. GOD BLESS!!!

Everyone- thanks so much for all the comments!! My absolute favorite part of the day is when G reads them aloud to us. So glad my rats are being taken care of :-) It’s great that the extended fam are on the log- bet that’s dad’s awesome handiwork- I can’t say how much I appreciate it. Jake- can’t say how proud of you I am:-) Rob- I have been praying for you and I’m so glad that I’ll be able to see you off. Too bad I’m not there to school you guys at taboo :-( Shuyi& Kevin- you little darlings!! Dad- can’t wait for our campout! Mom- you best be renting a good chick flick for us when I get back!! I love you guys soooooo much!! Can’t wait to see you all!!

Hey guys, I’m glad to hear that you had a good time at Mike’s house. I was wondering if you guys had gone to Canada.. guess not. Did dad get his bike yet? How’s Tyrone? (my balloon) I went swimming in the ocean yesterday. The locals where wearing sweaters ‘n’ stuff. It felt like Hampton in the spring. Say hi to everyone for me. Love and miss you guys.

Hi Mom and Dad! And ben. I am doing great. We went swimming in warm water. And we climbed a big sand mountain thing. You know when you see on the movies those people who are trapped in the dessert? Ya that really sucks. I thought it would be cool but no…I saw a warthog. It kinda looked like pumba but not really…its not the lion king over here which I thought it would be. Love Bert

Hey all, amazing things are happening here. God has definitely been changing lives, especially mine, in ways I could have only imagined. I feel that walls I’ve built up over the years are crashing down. Mom I hope that you are partying hard and being crazy, Love to Nate, ash, and everyone reading. Hey all! How are you! Well im here in Okahandja and im having an awesome time! The kids here are cool and well you’ve heard everything from my journal entry so im just going to say one more thing. I went to the coast yesterday and Arandis. Which was amazing! I met a little girl called amalda and we went swimming at the beach! We also went to the sand dunes but it was really foggy so we couldn’t see anything. Cant wait to see you all again and how is feebe and has any one talked to ina? And I hope your all having a great time with out me! Well post a reply! Love mike PEACE!
