Ok guys hey what’s up? Well im here in Africa and having a great time so im going to share with you a journal entry I had a little while back:June 8, 2006
Ok so I am journaling again. This place is amazing. I never seem to know what time it is or day but that doesn’t matter the people he seems to love the lord with all they have which isn’t much. Worshiping with the band has been really thinking about the words of the songs and I just want to cry out with every ounce of me and I sing as loud as I can while keeping a tune and it just doesn’t seem loud enough. Let’s see things that have been happening here. The showers are soooo cold! i had an awesome time bouldering today at Monkey Mountain. I saw a big black snake and I think it might have been a black mamba but don’t worry Im not that stupid I didn’t get close to it... chocolate is sooo good here! (Eating some now) I met a wicked awesome girl last night named atyani she was really cute. I always seem to be dirty here my hands cant seem to stay clean. And all this sand is making my boogers really hard. Let’s see what else is going on here? the food is awesome! And we ate something called Oryx ( I think that’s how you spell it) its kind of like. An antelope. Dieter is amazing I never knew a man could love the lord so much! The Namibians know this thing that is awesome it goes like thisLeader: God is good!

And a bunch of songs like higher song and there is no other way. I never knew I could carry so many kids at once! There were I think 4 on me at once today. I seems like if one sees I am playing with a kid they all come over and want to play to! I just wish I had like 100 arms that could stretch so I could hold all of them and they are all so cute! I haven’t seen any animals yet. Other than a weird furry thing and a few baboons and a glimpse of a snake a few lizards a cool looking gecko a big spider about this big (circle drawn in journal) and these little beetles that are every where and a really cool furry ant so I guess I have seen some animals. Oh ya! An ostrich and an albino spring bock. Goat’s cows and sheep. But no giraffes’ or elephants. We thought there was a mountain lion or a wild cat last night it was just the dog though. Oh! The three dogs here are xina yazi and captian. Well my cd is ending and I thing they are going to turn out the light soon so I have to go to bed but I will talk to all of yall later GOD IS GOOD!
