Messages from the team
Hi everyoneToday's entry, from me, is to try and get messages from the various team members to their family and friends back home who wanted to send one. Though not all may have sent one today, they promised to post at some point soon. In no particular order, other than the way I have all these little slips of paper...here we go...
Brian says: Well, we made it! I learn two rules on the journey, 1) If it has wheels, don't sit on it 'cause it's probably gonna move and 2) the Namibian sunset is beautiful.
Shari says: Dear DeeDee, Doodle, Crash and Scoot, I'm here! Can you believe it? Dad and I are doing very well but we miss you like crazy! You'll be happy to know that I am talking care of Amanda's upside-down braids. She looks very nice. And Xena is an adorable dog! I will send you guys emails as soon as I get a chance to. Love you guys with all my heart. Hug each other for me, OK? Lost of love, Mom. P.S. To Melissa, Amanda is fine and to Jen, Krista is fine! Love you guys!

Ashish says: Theres a LATA chawla back in Connecticut...none here. I got more sleep in a nap than I had this whole trip...Miss you Mommy!

Alex says: Hey mom, don't worry I"m still alive and well and everything is going well here. I hope you're not having to much fun without us. I love you.
Kirk says: Hi you guys! I'm alive, well, fed but not quite well rested, but I can't complain. Love ya'lls.
Hannah says: I found jelly beans! It's cold, I'm here and cold.
Mike says: Hey guys/mom & dad! I'm alive and love it here. Keep praying for me and I miss you all!
Katie says: Africa is amazing! We saw baboons and an ostrich running around today! I love you guys and can't wait to see you. Thanks for all your love, support, and prayers. Love Katie.
Naomi says: Hey Guys! I'm sitting in front of a huge bonfire and everyone is doing good. Love and miss you. P.S. They have palm trees.
Karen says: Sending my love and regards to all so you know I didn't follow through with any plans of skydiving and the like. In actuality, I've arrived safely. Love to Mom, Ashley, Nate and all. btw Nate continuing with the "vow": I can't wear socks to bed.

John says: Hi family! We are finally in Africa as of sunday morning. (Saturday at midnight for you). Yesterday we checked equipment and today we have our first concert. I love you.
and finally Don says: HEY, I'M IN AFRICA!! To Diandre and Adria - so far, it's all you said and more. To Nicky, the stars and Milky Way here are AWESOME! To Karen - Happy Birthday tomorrow. Not sure what our plans might be....Love to all.
