Update from Team Ondangwa
Wednesday, July 5
Today Nancy and Nathan spent the morning teaching in 1 Peter and an overview for church planting.
Having received one of the two missing bags yesterday, which wasn’t Paula’s and mine, the volley ball and net which was in Nancy’s missing bag was brought out and was a big hit.
The decision has been made to stay at the Fantasia B & B. It is a little more than we want to spend so we are doing a few things to help. One is that our team will stay with Saara and Boniface the last night…which will be free! However, there is the issue of bathroom facilities! They have made “toilet” on their property but we had not used it. Today I (Paula) decided I needed to learn to use their facilities. So as Diina, one of the students came from the toilet I went up to her and asked her how to use the toilet. She smiled and brought me out to the little hut. I looked in and there was a cement base with an old toilet seat on it. No door but they don’t have close neighbors. She showed me the water to dump in after you go and how to wash your hands in a bucket. We both smiled at each other and I said thank you and gave her a hug. Then I…well you don’t need those details. I am happy to report the toilet works beautifully and it will be easier to stay at Boni and Saara’s now that this issue is resolved. Nancy gave the toilet a test drive and gave it two thumbs up. But Nat and Jim passed. Wimps!!
I (Jim) finally figured out how to get the GPS I borrowed to receive the satellites, just a setting change. So those interested in finding us at Saara & Boniface’s. Google earth’s downloaded map (http://www.earth.google.com/) has a GPS bar attached to the pointer to locate the place you want.

We have pictures!!! The place we used the internet last time had an old computer that didn’t have the drivers for my camera. Loading them from the web would have been time consuming considering the connection. We have plan B now.
HI this is Nate: So far the trip is great. I think Jim has brought you all up to speed with what we are doing and our accomodations etc. so I will just send my love to you all back home and please continue to pray for us. Especially pray for Boniface and Saara to recieve water at the school. Please say hello to Casey for me. Love Nate.
